  • China Nuclear Energy Industry Association Announces National Nuclear Power Operation in 2015 2019-12-16
    On January 22, the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association released the national nuclear power operation from January to December 2015. In 2015, a total of six nuclear power units in China were officially put into commercial operation, namely Fangjiashan Nuclear Power Plant Unit 2 (February 12), Yangjiang Nuclear Power Plant Unit 2 (June 5), and Ningde Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3 ( June 10), Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3 (August 16), Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant Unit 2 (October 16), Changjiang Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1 (December 25). So far, China has put into operation 28 nuclear power generating units, with a total installed capacity of 26427.37MWe (rated installed capacity), which accounts for about 1.75% of the national total installed power capacity.
