On November 18, the second East Asia Summit Clean Energy Forum was held in Haikou, Hainan Province. Zhang Yuqing said that as a member of the East Asia Summit mechanism, China is vigorously developing clean energy, and is willing to share its experiences and achievements in nuclear power, hydropower, wind power, photovoltaic, smart grid and other fields with countries in the region, and work for everyone to enjoy clean energy.
In order to accelerate the implementation of the "Building a Green Energy Network" initiative, Zhang Yuqing proposed that he hopes that all countries in the region will actively participate in and jointly promote this forum to become the best platform for exchange, cooperation and display of green energy networks in East Asia, and discuss cooperation among countries in the region. New ideas to achieve regional energy connectivity, optimize regional resource allocation, equality and mutual trust, win-win cooperation, and go hand in hand to jointly promote the development of clean energy in the region, and contribute wisdom and strength to respond to global climate change and drive sustainable economic and social development in the region .
