Recently, China Measurement and Control Network released information that, as of the end of 2014, China's installed power generation capacity was 1,361.9 million kilowatts, an increase of 8.7% year-on-year. The country ’s new infrastructure construction equipment generated electricity capacity of 10.35 million kilowatts, of which hydropower added 21.85 million kilowatts, thermal power added 47.29 million kilowatts, nuclear power added 5.47 million kilowatts, grid-connected wind power added 20.72 million kilowatts, and grid-connected solar power added 817 Ten thousand kilowatts. China's hydropower, wind power installed capacity and nuclear power are all under construction in the world, and the green development of power has become the mainstream.

According to the official website of the World Economic Forum, China ’s investment in clean energy accounts for 29% of the total G20 investment, far exceeding the US and Japan ’s investment in new energy. China has now become the world's largest investor in clean energy, investing US $ 68 billion in new energy development in 2012 and US $ 54 billion in 2013.

The "China Electric Power International Cooperation Strategy Research Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") written by the Electricity International Cooperation Task Force of the China Industry Overseas Development Association pointed out that in the future, China will spend US $ 286 billion on renewable energy development and US $ 3760. 100 million US dollars for energy protection engineering projects from 2011 to 2015. By 2020, non-fossil energy will account for 15% of China's total energy composition, and by 2030 this proportion will reach 20% -25%.

Among them, international cooperation in the wind energy industry has achieved initial success. In 2014, the installed wind power capacity of non-OECD countries once again surpassed the traditional European and North American markets. Non-OECD countries are led by China and Brazil, followed by Mexico and South Africa. Emerging markets have become the main force driving global wind power growth.

The Global Wind Energy Council predicts that the new installed capacity will reach 50 GW again by 2015 and 60 GW by 2018. The Indian market will achieve steady growth in the next few years; Latin America is becoming a strong regional market, with Brazil as the leading country, followed by Mexico; the African wind power market has begun to rise, led by South Africa, Egypt and Morocco, Wind power installed capacity exceeded 1 GW for the first time in 2014.

And Chinese companies are constantly strengthening the expansion of the global wind energy market. The "Report" pointed out that in 2014, China's total 5 wind turbine manufacturers exported wind turbines to foreign countries. A total of 189 shipments were shipped with a total shipping capacity of 368.75 MW. Among them, unit sales projects accounted for 72.5% of total exports, and the rest were EPC and investment projects.

As of the end of 2014, China's wind turbine manufacturers have exported a total of 937 wind turbines, with a cumulative capacity of 1761.25 MW. Among wind turbine manufacturers, Goldwind Technology has the largest export volume, followed by Huarui Wind Power, Sany Energy, and Mingyang Wind Power. In 2013, Mingyang Wind Power signed a US $ 3 billion cooperation agreement with Reliance Energy and China Development Bank. The three parties cooperated to develop India's 2,500 MW new energy projects, including wind power and solar power. Mingyang Wind Power is responsible for providing a complete set of solutions.

"Going out" of Chinese wind power is becoming an irresistible trend. It is understood that at present, there are two main ways for Chinese wind power companies to participate in foreign projects. One way is to directly acquire overseas wind power projects, such as Longyuan Power, Sany Heavy Energy and other companies acquiring wind power projects overseas; the other way is M & A. Foreign companies, such as Goldwind Technology holding VENSYS in Germany, and Xiangdian Group acquiring Dutch Darwind. At the end of 2014, CGNPC bought three British wind power plants from French Power and entered the European renewable energy market. CGNPC established CGN Europe Energy in France, which is mainly engaged in renewable energy projects such as offshore wind power, onshore wind power, and solar power in Europe Investment and acquisition, development and construction, operation and maintenance, and asset management.
