World Nuclear Energy Focus Symposium Held in Beijing

On January 15, the "World Nuclear Energy Focus" seminar co-sponsored by the World Nuclear Association and the Chinese Nuclear Society was successfully held in Beijing. More than 200 experts, scholars, and engineering and technical personnel from more than 100 units at home and abroad gathered together to study and discuss current hot topics in the nuclear field.
This focus seminar on nuclear energy is the first focus conference conducted by the World Nuclear Association and the Chinese Nuclear Society. The purpose of the conference is to strengthen the world's understanding of China's nuclear industry and promote cooperation between the world and China in the nuclear field.
At the seminar, Jean-Jacques Gautrot, Chairman of the World Nuclear Association, and Shen Lixin, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Nuclear Society, hosted a welcome speech to all participants. Lei Zengguang, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Nuclear Society and Chief Engineer of China National Nuclear Corporation; Song Xudan, CEO of French Holding Company China Holdings; Wang Zhongtang, Chief Engineer of China National Nuclear Power Technology Corporation; Ou Daobo, Senior Executive Vice President of Areva, France; And 14 invited speakers, including Chief Engineer Chai Guohan of the Radiation Safety Center, focused on "The Status Quo, Trends, and Challenges of the World's Nuclear Power Development", "Looking Forward to China: Winning Cooperation", and "The Nuclear Fuel Cycle Strategy: China and the World's Development Prospects-Front End" "," Supply Chain Management: Challenges and Opportunities "and other topics were reported. Nuclear power equipment, advanced technology, laws and regulations, financing, international cooperation, nuclear fuel cycle, and supply chain issues were thoroughly discussed in these reports.
At the roundtable discussion, Chai Guohan, Wang Zhongtang, Song Xudan, Ou Daobo and others discussed "China, the global nuclear energy market partner" and discussed the current international cooperation issues in China and around the world. The special financing department of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Headquarters Deputy Manager Shen Min also explained and introduced issues related to nuclear power international financing and experience. During the question and answer session, the reporter also discussed with the participants the domestication of nuclear power equipment, the choice of uranium enrichment technology, and the challenges that safety standards and regulations pose to suppliers.
