January 15 is the 60th anniversary of the founding of China's nuclear industry. After 60 years of development, nuclear power construction is entering a new era. The industry generally predicts that the next 4 to 5 years will become another critical period for China's nuclear power development. For the nuclear power industry in 2015, restart, listing, technology selection and going global have become the focus of attention in the industry.

Nuclear power restart

2014 was the year with the strongest call for restarting nuclear power. Not only was it written in the government work report for the first time, but it also received high-level statements and promotion many times. However, due to technical selection and other issues, no new project was launched until the end of 2014. After the Fukushima nuclear accident, although China has started construction of seven new units, these units have been approved before the accident. According to the latest nuclear power development plan, China's nuclear power generating units in operation will be 58 million kilowatts and 30 million kilowatts under construction by 2020. Based on this calculation, new installations of 40 million kilowatts will be needed in the 6 years from 2015 to 2020, and an average of 6 units will be started each year.

Therefore, 2015 is bound to become a critical year for nuclear power restart, and it is also expected to become another peak year for nuclear power construction. At present, the Hongyanhe Units 5 and 6 using ACPR1000, the National Nuclear Demonstration Project using CAP1400 technology, and the preliminary work of Fuqing Units 5 and 6 using Hualong No. 1 technology have been basically completed, waiting for the final "starting order". According to the current state of preparation, the above units will officially start in 2015 without accident.

After the curtain of nuclear power restart is opened, it means that auxiliary equipment including valves, instrument control systems, heating and air conditioning will enter the formal tender period, and long-term equipment procurement such as nuclear islands and conventional islands will continue to steadily advance. The development momentum of Jiangsu Shentong, China Nuclear Technology, Nanfeng, Zhejiang Rich Holdings, Shanghai Electric, Dongfang Electric, and Harbin Electric is promising.

Sun Qin, chairman of CNNC, also recently said that China's nuclear power technology is currently in the transition period from second to third generation. After 2016, with the continuous maturity of technologies such as AP1000, nuclear power will usher in large development. It is predicted that six nuclear power units will be used each year It is estimated that the scale of investment in nuclear power construction will reach 70 billion yuan each year in the next 10 years.

 Listed nuclear power

12In December 2014, CGNPC officially launched an IPO in Hong Kong, writing a new chapter of nuclear power joint capital. If 2014 is the first year of China's nuclear power landing on the capital market, then 2015 is expected to be a peak year.

The first nuclear power stock in the world and the "freezing capital king" of Hong Kong stocks. The performance of CGN Power in the Hong Kong market demonstrates the enthusiasm of the investment community for pure nuclear power. China Nuclear Group, another giant of China Nuclear Power, has also submitted a prospectus of its nuclear power assets, China Nuclear Power, and is waiting for A-share market listing opportunities. In addition, China Nuclear Construction also disclosed the prospectus in May 2014. If the two companies can enter the capital market as expected in 2015, the nuclear power concept is expected to leave a strong mark on the A-share market in 2015.

Technical selection

The finalization of the technology of Hualong No. 1 and its final landing was an important event for China's nuclear power in 2014. The three major technologies of AP1000, CAP1400 and Hualong No. 1 form the mainstream of China's nuclear power. The implementation of Hualong No. 1 technology has not only created the necessary conditions for "going global" for China National Nuclear Corporation and China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group, but also provided new options for China's new nuclear power projects in the case of a significant delay in the AP1000 unit.

Due to "the main pump encountered a technical challenge", the construction period of the world's first project of Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant No. 1 in AP1000 technology continued to be delayed. "Realizing grid-connected power generation of Unit No. 1 by the end of 2015" Completion schedule. The delay of the first pile of projects also has an impact on the start of Xu Dabao, Lufeng and other projects that plan to use the technology for selection.

CAP1400 is based on the introduction of AP1000 technology. China ’s independent third-generation nuclear power technology. At present, the technical scheme and key equipment have been basically formed. The demonstration project started in 2015 is a high probability event. The selection of this technology will be used at home and abroad. The situation deserves attention.

Tan Hualong No. 1 technology is a fusion of the two technologies of China National Nuclear Corporation's ACP1000 and China National Nuclear Corporation's ACPR1000 +. It is a nuclear power generator that can be exported domestically. In August 2014, the National Energy Administration and the National Nuclear Safety Administration reviewed the overall technical plan of "Hualong One". Only four months after the technical plan was approved, the two major demonstration projects, Fuqing Nuclear Power Units 5 and 6, and Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant 3 Units 4 and 4 were respectively approved by the National Energy Administration. According to relevant persons from China National Nuclear Corporation, the Group is actively promoting the preparations for Units 5 and 6 of Fuqing Nuclear Power, and set the FCD (Pouring First Tank Concrete) target in June 2015.

  go out

Although no actual order has been obtained, the “going out” of nuclear power is undoubtedly a new feature of the development of nuclear power in 2014. The promotion intensity and scope of “going out” have reached unprecedented heights and become a “new business card” for Chinese diplomacy. With the technical formation of CAP1400 and Hualong No.1 technology, nuclear power “going global” may continue to deepen in 2015 and become a new hot spot after the high-speed rail sector.

In 2014, with high-level diplomatic activities, Chinese nuclear power authorities and nuclear power companies signed cooperation documents with France, Argentina, Italy, Spain, Canada, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan and other countries. China National Nuclear Corporation has reached a cooperation agreement with Argentina and Canada. China National Nuclear Corporation's layout in the United Kingdom, Romania and other places has also achieved initial results, and China National Nuclear Technology has also signed cooperation memoranda with Westinghouse and Turkish Power Generation Corporation.
