    According to the statistics of the China Electricity Union's monthly statistics, in the first half of 2014, the average utilization hours of power generation equipment of 6000 kW and above power plants nationwide was 2,087 hours, a year-on-year decrease of 79 hours.


As of the end of June, the installed hydropower capacity of power plants of 6000 kilowatts and above nationwide was 254 million kilowatts. The average utilization hours of hydropower equipment in the first half of the year was 1,430 hours, a decrease of 101 hours over the same period of the previous year. In most provinces, the average utilization hours of hydropower equipment decreased year-on-year. Of the 12 provinces with installed hydropower capacity of more than 5 million kilowatts, the utilization hours of hydropower equipment in nine provinces decreased year-on-year. Among them, Qinghai, Fujian, Zhejiang, and Gansu declined by more than 200 hours. Hydropower utilization hours in Hubei, Yunnan, and Guangdong increased by 12 hours, 23 hours, and 72 hours respectively year-on-year.


As of the end of June, the installed thermal power capacity of power plants of 6000 kW and above nationwide was 879 million kilowatts. The average utilization hours of thermal power equipment in the first half of the year was 2,375 hours, 26 hours lower than the same period last year. Among them, the average utilization hours of thermal power equipment in Ningxia and Qinghai reached 3143 and 2923 hours, respectively, and over 2,600 hours in Hebei, Jiangsu, Xinjiang, Shaanxi, and Hainan; the utilization hours of thermal power equipment in Yunnan, Hunan, and Jilin were less than 1900 hours, of which Yunnan had only 1603 hours. . Compared with the same period of the previous year, a total of 19 provinces experienced a year-on-year decrease in thermal power utilization hours. Among them, Yunnan, Sichuan, and Guizhou decreased by 395 hours, 281 hours, and 208 hours, respectively.


As of the end of June, the installed capacity of nuclear power nationwide was 17.78 million kilowatts, and the average utilization hours of equipment was 3430 hours, which was 113 hours lower than the same period of the previous year.


By the end of June, the nation's grid-connected wind power installed capacity was 82.75 million kilowatts, and the power generation capacity was 78.5 billion kilowatt-hours. The average utilization time of wind power equipment was 986 hours, which was 114 hours lower than the same period last year. By province, the average utilization hours of wind power in Yunnan, Guangdong, and Tianjin reached 1639, 1452, and 1352 hours, respectively. Among the 10 provinces with wind power installed capacity exceeding 3 million kilowatts, the average utilization hours of wind power equipment in Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, and Xinjiang exceeded the national average; the average utilization hours of wind power in Jilin, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, and Gansu were only 727, 832, and 853, respectively. And 884 hours, a year-on-year decrease of 110, 209, 162 and an increase of 9 hours.
