Sun Xiongwei pointed out in his speech that the cooperation between Haiyan Nuclear Power and French Nuclear Power has a long history. Since 2008, Haiyan has carried out many docking and exchange activities with the French Nuclear Energy Industry Association, the French-Chinese Power Association, and the French Nuclear Power City Burgundy. And signed the letter of intent to promote cooperation in nuclear power related industries. In 2013, Areva registered the Areva (China) Nuclear Power Service Company in Haiyan, and the company is running well. It can be said that after many years of docking and exchanges, the cooperation between the two sides has gradually entered a good situation. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. In order to accelerate the cooperation with the French nuclear power industry, Haiyan put forward the idea of building a "Sino-French cooperation and joint construction of a nuclear energy demonstration zone" and build China's nuclear power city into a model place for Sino-French nuclear energy industry cooperation. . In March of this year, the Haiyan County Economic and Trade Mission visited France with President Xi Jinping and signed a construction cooperation agreement with Areva Group and the French-Chinese Power Association. "Sino-French cooperation in building a nuclear energy demonstration zone" has become a new platform for bilateral cooperation.
The conference pointed out that Haiyan, as the birthplace of nuclear power in mainland China, has superior geographical advantages and industrial advantages. China Nuclear Power City is a major project jointly built by central enterprises and local governments. It has attracted the attention of leaders in many countries and is the first choice for the gathering of nuclear power industry resources. In recent years, in order to develop nuclear power-related industries, Haiyan has successively established nuclear power-related industry alliances and promulgated nuclear power-related industry support policies. In 2013, it has cashed policy awards to enterprises of nearly 5 million yuan. At present, China Nuclear Power City has introduced 58 projects with a total investment of 10 billion yuan. The planned nuclear power equipment industrial zone and nuclear power operation service zone have begun to take shape.
During the meeting, the representatives of the two companies had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the situation of enterprises, products and nuclear power services.
