In 2000, in response to the call for the development of the western region of the country, 15 graduates of Hebei Baoding College resolutely gave up the opportunity for multi-employee employment and continued their studies, and took their household registration to teach in Xinjiang Qiemo County Middle School, which is thousands of miles away. As of 2013, 97 graduates of this school have worked at the grassroots level in Xinjiang, Tibet, Guizhou, Chongqing, and Sichuan.
