At 17:25 on January 12, 2015, two months after Unit 1 was connected to the grid for power generation on November 4, 2014, the Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant Extension Project (Fangjiashan Nuclear Power Project) was successfully connected to the grid for the first time and was refreshed. The shortest construction period record of the domestic unit of the same type "from the first loading to the first critical, and then to the grid-connected power generation" created by Unit 1 of this project once again demonstrated the heritage and strength of Qinshan's "old-style". So far, all nine units of the Qinshan Nuclear Power Base have been put into production, with a total installed capacity of 6.546 million kilowatts and an annual power generation of about 50 billion kilowatt hours. It has become the nuclear power base with the largest number of nuclear power units, the most abundant reactors, and the largest installed capacity in China.

Since the Fangjiashan nuclear power project started construction, it has always adhered to the "safety first, quality first" policy, and adopted a series of strong management measures to promote the project's "four major controls." In the project construction, give full play to the joint management and control capabilities of the owner company, the technical strength of the operating company, and the general contracting management of the engineering company, forward-lookingly propose the ascent goal of the project construction, and go all out to lead the project progress on the premise of ensuring safety and quality; creative To set up a joint project management and control team to pay close attention to the carding and key advancement of the "neck neck" project; actively refer to the construction experience of the reference power station and the same period of the project, and establish a mode of coordinated management of commissioning and traction engineering to accelerate the promotion of field work and effectively solve field problems ; Implement the "commissioning and production integration" management mechanism, focus on advantageous resources, and do a good job of unit start-up tests safely and efficiently. Especially in the supply chain of the Digital Instrument Control System (DCS) of Unit 2, the owner company and the engineering company actively organize and coordinate with the DCS manufacturer, the operating company sends technical backbone personnel to the factory to participate in the test, and deeply intervenes in the management coordination to promote DCS. Faster delivery. With the unremitting efforts of all parties, the DCS test duration of Unit 2 was shortened from 8 months to 1 month for Unit 1, which played a key role in achieving grid-connected power generation for the unit.

It is reported that the Fangjiashan nuclear power project has an installed capacity of two 108 million kilowatt pressurized water reactor nuclear power units, which is one of the most autonomous and domestically produced nuclear power plants in China with a million kilowatt nuclear power unit. The project actively draws on similar nuclear power construction experience in China, implemented 18 major technical improvements and 14 technical improvements after the Fukushima nuclear accident, further improving the safety level of the unit. Unit 1 has been connected to the grid for power generation on November 4, 2014, and has commercial operating conditions on December 15. The unit 2 has been dome-mounted on May 27, 2011, cold-state functional test on May 23, 2014, 2014 The first loading on December 3, 2014, the first critical on December 25, 2014. (He Xin)
