According to the Shanghai Securities Journal reported on September 26, it was learned from the industry that the National Energy Administration held the next phase of the nuclear power project appraisal council on the 25th, and organized experts to evaluate the reactor types of various technical routes, including risk assessment, solutions, and a consensus plan. It is expected to report to the State Council in the near future. However, unlike the "first batch of four places and six projects" recently reported by the media, the latest approval idea for nuclear power is "mature one, approved one."

Data show that as of the end of July 2014, China had 50 units in operation and under construction with a total capacity of 50.74 million kilowatts. To complete the “12th Five-Year Plan” of 2015, the installed and installed capacity of 58 million kilowatts will be required. Started generating units with a capacity of 8 to 10 million kilowatts, that is, 6 to 8 three-generation units of 1.25 million kilowatts. The industry believes that in 2015, China Nuclear Group Xu Dabao Phase I, Sanmen Phase II, CGN Lufeng Phase I and Fangchenggang Phase II are also expected to approve the start of construction.

Expert analysis believes that nuclear power equipment manufacturing, as a representative of high-end equipment, can drive 72 to 96 billion yuan of investment at a construction speed of 6 to 8 units per year. It is also an important starting point for stable growth and structural adjustment to prevent economic downturn.
