At 9:08 on July 20, 2013, Li Dakuan, the leader of the Qinshan Nuclear Power Group's preparatory group, officially announced "Fangjiashan Unit 2 Fuel Pool Inlet" at the Fangjiashan Project Unit 2 Fuel Plant! This marks the smooth realization of another important node of Unit 2 of Fangjiashan Nuclear Power Project, and also the realization of the first JYK assessment point of Fangjiashan Project in the second half of the year, 11 days ahead of schedule.
In order to better implement the "631" strategic objective, under the correct guidance of leaders at all levels of the preparatory group, all participating units in Fangjiashan actively coordinated and vigorously promoted all aspects of the steel cladding construction of the 2KX fuel pool.
High technical requirements for the construction of stainless steel pool cladding: "Quality assurance level is QA1, 100% of weld seam inspection is qualified, no leakage is allowed in the water-sealing test of the cladding seam, thin plates are easy to deform", and the characteristics of tight schedules are heavy. The participating units appointed experienced special persons and set up a special coordination group to coordinate and solve various problems in the project in a timely manner; formulate special schedules and special measures to reduce the progress lag caused by the instability of on-site crane work. The construction environment is effectively established to avoid the humidity in the rainy season, which greatly affects the welding quality, and the hot summer, which affects the smooth development of the construction.
During the installation of stainless steel cladding, a regular meeting and supervision mechanism was established to ensure the safety and quality and effective monitoring of progress, especially the safety and quality conference and the implementation of the feedback on construction experience of unit 1 steel cladding, which ensured the construction quality and achieved 2KX fuel. The pass rate of the steel cladding of the pool steel was up to 96.12%.
On the afternoon of August 21, the water leak test pipe outlet, the wall on the back of the pool, and the transfer channel opening of the stainless steel covered pool water sealing test of the fuel plant of Unit 2 were inspected. No leakage was found, which met the design requirements and marked stainless steel. The sealing test of the cover pool was completed ahead of time, which laid a solid foundation for the installation of new fuel elevators, storage grids and other equipment in the later period. It also marked that the construction of the stainless steel cover of the 2KX factory building was shifted from the civil phase to the installation phase.
In order to ensure the smooth development of the stainless steel cladding pool sealing test work, the owner company, engineering company, supervision company, 22 company, the first plant commissioning team and other relevant departments worked closely and actively cooperated to ensure that the pool test was successfully completed at one time.
