To celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on July 2nd, the CPC Wanna Hainan Party Branch organized party members to visit the "Liberation of Hainan Island Martyrs' Cemetery" to greet the party's birthday together. In the hot soil of Hainan, there were countless people with lofty ideals who stood up for the liberation of the people and dedicated themselves heroically. On July 2, the CPC Wanna Hainan Party branch visited the martyr's cemetery, recalling history and remembering the martyrs.
The Martyr's Cemetery is located in the middle of green trees in Haikou Jinniuling Park. At noon, the sun was hot and there were few tourists in the park. A few minutes walk along the forest path, you will reach the cemetery of the martyrs who liberated Hainan Island. Looking at the long stairs leading to the monument at the entrance, a 16-meter-high monument stands like a sailing boat in the wind and waves, standing in the center of the square. The sails of the sailing ship are engraved with the words "the martyrs that liberate Hainan are immortal." Around the hull are carved the scenes of crossing the sea troops and the Qiongya column to liberate Hainan's heroic battle. In 1950, the crossing troops and the Qiongya column sneaked across the Qiongzhou Strait with a wooden sailboat and successfully landed on Hainan Island. On April 16th, they launched a large-scale cross-sea storm, liberated Haikou City on the 23rd, and pursued victory on May 1st to liberate Hainan Island. All party members bowed to the monument and paid homage to the monument, paying high respect and deep respect for the revolution.
During the visit, everyone deeply felt the arduous course of the national independence and liberation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, and cherished the hard-won happy life and work now. Members of the Party have stated that they must seriously study the party constitution, party regulations, and study speeches, be a qualified party member, and actively implement the belief that General Secretary Xi Jinping's revolutionary ideal is higher than heaven, adhere to the correct political direction, and endure various risks and difficulties. Consciously resist the erosion of various rotten ideas, and forever maintain the political nature of the Communists.
Through this visit to the martyrs 'cemetery, all members of the commissioning department of the Hainan Nuclear Power Project learned the revolutionary spirit of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries and Communists. The heroic revolutionary spirit has greatly inspired the party members' respect for the martyrs. Party members are determined to use martyrs as an example, and will devote themselves wholeheartedly to the construction of nuclear power projects in the future, showing a positive outlook on martyrs.
