Recently, Haiyan County organized a special training event on the theme of “Nuclear Power Safety and Nuclear Emergency”. The event was organized by the County Nuclear Emergency Office, and the liaison officers and staff of the members of the County Nuclear Emergency Committee gathered in the County Nuclear Emergency Command Center. Participate in activities. The training content mainly includes the use of new equipment in the nuclear emergency command center, the updating of nuclear emergency knowledge, and the review of nuclear emergency plans.
During the training, technicians explained in detail the operation and use of new equipment in the county nuclear emergency command center. It is understood that the reconstruction project of Haiyan County Nuclear Emergency Command Center started in August, with a total investment of more than 600,000 yuan for equipment upgrades and reconstruction work. At present, the project has been successfully completed, and the program-controlled equipment of the nuclear emergency command center has been completely updated. After careful debugging, the county nuclear emergency command center communicates smoothly with the provincial nuclear emergency command center and the signals are clear.
In order to strengthen the update and reserve of nuclear emergency knowledge of each liaison officer, this training also specially invited Zhu Yuelong, director of the environmental emergency department and senior engineer of China Nuclear Nuclear Power Management Co., Ltd. to give a lecture on basic knowledge of nuclear emergency. Zhu Yuelong presented a special lecture on nuclear power knowledge from the aspects of nuclear power development, nuclear power and nuclear power safety, and nuclear accident emergency.
In the lecture, Zhu Yuelong explained to the participants that nuclear energy is a safe and clean energy source from the principles of nuclear power generation and radiation in daily life. The reporter learned that the dose received by residents around a million kilowatt nuclear power plant due to the operation of the nuclear power plant was less than 0.01mSv / person · year, which was only one quarter of the natural background value, which was negligible. In addition, the nuclear power plant has 4 physical barriers, with the principle of defense in depth and sufficient on-site and external emergency preparedness work. After the Fukushima accident, the Qinshan Nuclear Power Base also carried out multi-faceted safety improvement and rectification measures.
