Nuclear safety equipment identification technology seminar held in Shanghai

Recently, the 2015 Nuclear Safety Equipment Appraisal Technical Seminar was hosted by the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association and undertaken by the Shanghai Power Generation Equipment Design and Research Institute. Nearly 100 representatives from 32 units attended the meeting. Long Maoxiong, deputy secretary general of China Nuclear Energy Industry Association, John White of the Nuclear Energy Professional Subcommittee of the Energy Committee of the American Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and Yan Hongqiang, president of the Shanghai Power Generation Equipment Design Institute, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.
At the seminar, many experts of the Nuclear Energy Engineering Subcommittee of the Energy Committee of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers were invited to make a special report, and participated in the calculation, analysis, and testing around the IEEE323 standard, IEEE344 standard, and equipment identification with the participants In-depth discussion and communication. This meeting has a positive role in further improving the overall level of China's nuclear safety equipment appraisal and deepening technical exchanges and cooperation in this field.
