In February this year, the Chinese and Arab governments signed the "Agreement on the Cooperative Construction of Pressurized Water Reactor Nuclear Power Plants in Argentina", marking the export of Hualong No. 1 to Latin America. At present, China National Nuclear Corporation is establishing an overseas market development system and actively promoting cooperation in nuclear power projects in nearly 20 countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa, and South Asia such as the United Kingdom, Argentina, and Egypt.
Nuclear power export also involves equipment manufacturing, fuel supply, personnel training, technical services and other links, which can effectively promote the upgrading of China's foreign trade. According to Qian Zhimin, general manager of China Nuclear Group, according to conservative estimates, the export of a nuclear power unit is about 30 billion yuan, which is equivalent to exporting 300,000 cars.
