Chung Yeung Festival, also known as "Chong Jiu Festival" and "Take Autumn", is a traditional festival of the Han nationality. The celebration of Chongyang Festival generally includes activities such as travelling to enjoy the scenery, ascending the distance, watching chrysanthemums, inserting dogwood, eating Chongyang cakes, and drinking chrysanthemum wine.

Every year on the 9th day of the 9th lunar calendar, it is also the festival of the four traditional Chinese ancestors.

The Chung Yeung Festival was formed as early as the Warring States Period. In the Tang Dynasty, Chung Yeung was officially designated as a folk festival. Chongyang and the "Tachun" on the third and third of March all came out of the family. All loved ones on this day must climb up to "avoid disaster" together.

After the founding of New China, Chongyang Festival activities have been enriched with new content. In 1989, China established the Chung Yeung Festival as the Elderly's Day. Every day, all places must organize autumn hiking trips for the elderly, broaden their horizons, exchange feelings, exercise their bodies, cultivate people to return to nature, and love the noble virtues of the country.
