The installed capacity of Fangjiashan Nuclear Power Project is two 1.08 million kilowatts of pressurized water reactor nuclear power units. It is one of the most autonomous and domestically produced nuclear power plants with a million-kilowatt nuclear power unit in China. Fangjiashan Nuclear Power Project implemented 18 major technical improvements, including the use of advanced fuel components, full digital instrumentation and control, nuclear island fire improvement, and the adoption of serious accident management countermeasures that reflect the requirements of pressurized water reactors, further improving unit safety. Since the Fangjiashan nuclear power project started in December 2008, Unit 1 has achieved important nodes such as the cold test, hot test, first loading, and first criticality of the main system. With the joint efforts of nuclear power builders, gratifying and congratulating achievements have been achieved on schedule!
